Movies at the park, fruit picking and nature centers are all great ways to get the kids out of the house in the summer. As they grow up it seems like they want to go do their own thing while we are out. Giving them that extra bit of freedom to explore while out can help them feel like the activities are more fun. One way to give kids a little more freedom at events without losing track of them is to use a pay as you go phone. Cricket Wireless offers phones where you only pay for the days you use it, so no monthly bill, just a safety net phone for the kids while you’re out on the town.

Thanks for the tips on areas to pick blueberries and apples. I didn't know about all of them, and what I love more than going to the farmer's market is actually picking the goods myself.
